Sylvan's Study Skills Program is designed for students who perform at grade level but need effective study techniques, organizational skills, time management, and test-taking strategies. The program includes reading and listening skills as well as note-taking strategies. Students can take the entire program or pick and choose the areas that fit their needs and goals. This seminar provides strategies in math, verbal, reasoning and critical thinking skills for ACT success. The course also focuses on test-taking strategies. It is great for students at any level. We have seen scores increase 2, 3, 4 and even 6 points!

The first step is to set up a free consultation to review past ACT score(s) so we can develop a tailored plan to help your student reach their goals. We offer this option throughout the year for all of the ACT test dates. Scheduling is limited, is based on a first come, first served basis and fills up quickly. The cost is $48 per hour. The ACT has four sections: English, Math, Reading and Science. Each section requires six hours of instruction, therefore, cost per section is $288. Once a plan is determined, scheduling is valid after receipt of payment.
