Sylvan gave an insecure, unconfident, shy girl her day to shine, and shine she did!

Everday I think of Sylvan and the change it has made to our family.
Dani was struggling in the third grade. I saw the Sylvan commercials on TV, but wasn't yet read to admit I needed help. Dani started the fourth grade with a bang and loved school. By November she started to regress and I was informed that Dani needed to be held back. Dani was furious. I told her we would call Sylvan and see if they could help.
The nearest Sylvan was in Bismarck,180 miles away. I wasn't sure how this worked but luckily the ladies at Sylvan did.
Dani took the assessment and I was stunned to say the least. She was at level 2 in most areas of math and a very low 3rd grade level in reading. I was speechless. Dani was going to have to work very hard to catch up. Dani worked so hard and her on-line teachers were so awesome. She always looked forward to her "Sylvan" days. It wasn't long before we started noticing Dani was "different".
Dani's teacher was astounded at the improvements she had made. Dani was bold enough to ask questions and take part in discussion groups and she raised her hand to answer questions. Dani was a completely different child.
Soon we were ready for Dani's second assessment at Sylvan. She was very nervous. As we went over the results, I was once again blown away. Dani was so proud; she couldn't quit smiling. Her math scores went from Level 2 to a 6th grade level! WOW! UNVELIEVABLE! In reading she went from a low 3rd grade level to an unbelievable 6.8 grade level. Never in my best hopes did I imagine this was possible. This is the best gift in the world. You gave an insecure, unconfident, shy girl her day to shine, and shine she did.
Sylvan has gone way beyond our expectations. Dani is talking about when she goes to college! Can you believe that? She wanted to be a third grade drop out! Thank you so much for everything you have given us, and for unveiling the smart little girl that didn't believe in herself until now!

Sylvan has been Awesome!

I feel my grandson's experience at Sylvan has been awesome. He has improved so much in reading and comprehension. I am so glad I took the initiative to have him go to Sylvan and be tested. He just loves going.
