Randy has a B.S. degree in Social Studies and Biology from the University of Great Falls and a M.A. Degree in Counseling and School Administration from MSU-Billings. Randy has spent 35 years in education as a teacher, counselor and as an administrator, with the last 18 years spent as a Principal and Associate Principal in Billings. Randy's hobbies include fly fishing, golfing and biking.
Jan has 14 years of elementary and middle school classroom teaching experience. Jan graduated from MSU-Billings with a degree in Elementary Education. Jan loves to water ski, downhill ski and cook. She has two daughters, Brienne and Lindsey and one new granddaughter, Mischa.
Melinda spent her younger years in Tennesse, Virginia and Michigan. She graduated from Michigan State University with a BA in French, MBA in Public Policy and Administration and a MBA in Criminal Justice. Melinda enjoys photography, cooking traditional southern meals, hiking, campfires and relaxing with her cat, Jackson, in her spare time. Melinda lives by the motto "Embrace Life".
Doug was born and raised outside of Atlanta, GA. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Social Science. He worked several summers at Canyon Village in Yellowstone National Park and he decided to move to Montana. He currently serving as a substitute teacher for the Bozeman and Belgrade school systems. Doug is an avid outdoorsman where he enjoys skiing, fly fishing and backpacking. He also enjoys traveling and photography.
Mike has a B.S. in Computer Science from MSU-Bozeman. Mike has worked for several aerospace corporations, building flight simulators and designing avionics for fighter aircraft. Mike works with students in all math programs. His hobbies include playing music in his band called "Comstock Lode".
Jennifer received her B.S. degree in Elementary Education from MSU-Bozeman and is a trained Montessori pre-school instructor. She has taught at a Montessori pre-school for the past 6 years. Jennifer enjoys hiking, teaching music and traveling.
Christina is a recent graduate of MSU-Bozeman with a B.S degree in Health Enhancement K-12 Education and a Coaching minor. Christina has a passion for teaching and watching them improve, accomplish and master new skills in the classroom.
Amanda graduated from MSU with a BS in Education (K-8) and a Reading minor. Amanda completed her student teaching in New Zealand. During her time in New Zealand, she experienced skydiving, bungee jumping, black water rafting and of course taught students in grades 3-8 at a private school on the North Island. Amanda was raised in eastern Montana, where her family owned a ranch. Amanda loves to hike, run with her puppy, Paizley, walk in the park, golf, cook, shop and travel. "I love to teach; it is something new and different every day and you never know what the day may bring you."
Kris has been a teacher her entire life. From playing "school" as a small child, to graduating from MSU-Billings, to teaching 6+ years in Billings, her love of learning is constant. Since moving to Bozeman, Kris has enjoyed the substitute teaching experience. Kris is a taxi driver and cheerleader for her two kids. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, making jewelry and discovering beautiful Bozeman with her husband, children and dogs.
Taylor did her undergraduate work at UCLA graduating with a B.M. in Oboe Performance and a B.A. in German. She has worked closely with the Education Abroad program and has spent a year studying at the Georg-August-Universitaet in Goettingen, Germany. Afterwards she attended CSU-Northridge and received her teaching credentials. Taylor loves teaching and in her spare time enjoys music, sewing, painting and keeping up with her German.
Kerry was raised in Massachusetts and has steadily moved westward, ending up in Bozeman. Kerry has a BA in Physics from Oberlin College and recently earned an MS in Electrical Engineering from MSU. She loves all the science and math related programs and is excited to working with students in these areas. Kerry also enjoys running, biking, backpacking and skiing.
Dianne has a B.S. degree in Education and Special Education from MSU-Billings. Dianne has been with the center since its opening. Dianne's experience includes teaching resource room students and adolescents in day treatment facilities. Dianne enjoys skiing, working out and reading. During the winter, Dianne lives in Arizona for two months.
Dan was raised in Helena and graduated from Montana State University with a Secondary Broad Field Science degree and a minor in Biology. Dan enjoys the many outdoor activities that the Gallatin Valley has to offer. Dan and his wife, Katie, reside in Bozeman.
Sue moved to Bozeman after teaching for 33 years in Chester, MT. Sue has experience teaching kindergarten, 3rd grade and serving as a K-12 guidance counselor. The mother of 3 grown children, Sue and her husband Bruce, enjoy spending time with family and her 3 grandchildren. Sue is currently working as an instructional aide at LaMotte School and as a guidance counselor at Malmborg School.
