Center Instructor

As a part-time instructor at Sylvan, your responsibilities are primarily those of just teaching! Lesson planning and preparation are provided for you. You will be trained in the Sylvan curriculum to teach in a 3:1 setting. In the Sylvan program, you will teach, supervise, and motivate students, reward them for completed assignments, evaluate and document their progress, and communicate student needs to the center director. As a teacher you have the joy of inspiring students by establishing rapport with them and creating a fun learning environment, along with maintaining an enthusiastic and positive atmosphere.

We require a Bachelor's degree and state level teaching certification, current or expired.

At this time we are primarily seeking math instructors, though we always welcome the opportunity to consider new staff for positions which may become available.
