Along with teaching our students the content they need to understand a subject, we also know the importance of helping students develop an independent study routine. Our Sylvan Study Hall is provided free to our students and allows them to concentrate on organizing assignments, studying for tests, doing research, all without distractions. Students quickly see the benefit of "being off the grid" from phones, email, TV, etc. and become better students because of it. All grades are eligible.

ACT prep

Students choose between a small study group approach, 4-6 students with a teacher, or a program where the student works individually with a teacher. Both approaches prepare students to aggressively attack the test. This is a very interactive program where no one can "doze off". The class meets twice per week for six weeks and includes two practice exams. Recommended highly by the students who have taken the class...just ask your fellow students, someone you know has taken the Sylvan class and done well on the ACT.
