Upper Level Math and Science Teachers

The Sylvan Learning Center of Gurnee is looking for energetic, flexible, and dependable UPPER LEVEL MATH and CHEMISTRY/BIOLOGY teachers.  You will be trained on the Sylvan curriculum to provide personalized instruction in a 3 to 1 setting. 

As a successful instructor, you will teach Sylvan programs, supervise, interact with, and motivate students during instruction, reward students for completed assignments, evaluate and document student progress, and communicate student needs to the center directors. You will also inspire students by developing rapport with them and establishing a fun learning environment, maintaining a positive attitude, and demonstrating enthusiasm for teaching and for Sylvan.

We require:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• State level teaching certification

Center Instructor

Sylvan Learning is now hiring part time Reading and Math teachers to work with elementary, middle school, and high school level students after school in the center.
