YEAH!"Our daughter went from C in math student to an A- in a year. She is also doing much better in all other subjects despite her diagnosed learning disabilities, decoding issues. We are planning to have her work at Sylvan on other subjects, like her decoding issue and difficulties with words. Her confidence is way up and she is an honor roll student, she doesn't need to go to the special resources class and has been recommended to take a foreign language instead. Mom is a teacher!!"The staff at Sylvan have made our experience a positive one. Each teacher and director puts the students first by individualizing the instruction. They take the time to get to know the kids, have conversations with them, and are constantly encouraging them. My older son attended Sylvan for over 100 hours to help with reading when he was in 1st and 2nd grade. Now a 5th grader, he has the confidence and the skills to succeed and Sylvan is reason why. He also went for math assistance in 4th grade and again, his ability to work with math problems with confidence is very evident. My daughter, who is in 2nd grade, is enrolled in the math support program right now and even after just 10 hours at Sylvan, she is feeling more comfortable with her math and with her other school work.
