Courses for Credit
The Sylvan Learning Center in McHenry is an accredited center - high school students that can't attend school or need a course that is not being offered - can take the course for credit at Sylvan. The center will work with the school to see what is required for the student to receive the credits.
Students with Special Needs Can Attend Sylvan.
We offer our services to all students based on their assessment results.
After the assessment, the student's program is personalized and individualized based on the test results.
All our teacher's are certified teachers that love to teach and care about each student's academic growth and individual self-esteem and confidence.
Student's progress is monitored carefully. We meet with parents on a regular basis to keep them informed of their child's growth.
SYLVAN ADVANCED MATH - October, 2008
This new program will hit our shelves in October, 2007.
High School students can work on their Algebra and/or Integrated Math Concepts + get Homework Support on their daily assignments.
This is a great way for 8th graders to be better prepared for Algebra - Integrated Math (Algebra/Geometry)when they start high school.
