Our Sylvan trained and certified tutors are dedicated to your child’s success. Working together with you, we will:

Harpreet Dhillon
Director of Education
Harpreet comes to St. Charles with teaching experience at Sylvan Centers in British Columbia and Barrington, IL. She received her B.A. Degree from Simon Fraser University and went on to complete the Professional Development program at SFU. Harpreet has received comprehensive teacher training through a lengthy practicum in a multi-grade classroom, accompanied by many seminars and extensive course work.
Cathi Alonzo
Office Adminstrator
The friendly voice that you hear when you call the St. Charles Sylvan office might just be Cathi. She has been with Sylvan since 2002 and keeps things in order while working with parents, students, and the community.
Janet D Schneider
Executive Director
Janet received her undergraduate degree in elementary education/special education from Eastern Illinois University and her Masters in Education Administration from National-Louis University. She taught 12 years in the Elgin Public School System. She has been the Executive Director with Sylvan since 1988.
