Older Students Like Sylvan, Too!"This past summer, before going off to college, my 19 year old high school senior needed to beef up his reading and math. I was worried at the start that my son would feel out of place and somewhat insecure about attending Sylvan at his age. Teresa and Brianne took the time to give me updates on how he was doing outside the normal scheduled meetings and much to my surprise my son actually liked going and progressed nicely. He went twice a week for 3 hours which was a lot to take in with him working full time. From Sylvan Student to Sylvan Teacher"I began going to Sylvan when I was in the fifth grade because my parents felt I was not getting the extra attention I needed at school. At Sylvan I worked on study skills, organization, and homework whenever I had a question. I did not have the confidence that I could succeed in school until after I started going to Sylvan.
