Lynda Aguirre
Center Director
Graduated from Western Illinois University with a Bachelors of Science in Education. Taught Junior High Science and taught first grade.
Carla Romansckyi, M.Ed
Director Of Education
Born in Chicago, Ilinois. Carla graduated from Loyola University Chicago, with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. She recently completed her Master's Degree at National Louis University in Education with a concentration in Special Education. She is an experienced Sylvan educator and enjoys working with parents, students, and staff members in the Schaumburg location. Carla is responsible for leading the development of all academic programs and the recruitment, training and development of all teaching staff.
Jennifer Anderson
Lead Teacher
Jennifer has been involved in education for the past 6 years. She has worked in daycare, as a substitute teacher, has taught fourth and sixth grades, and currently teaches reading to first graders. She has been teaching for Sylvan for three years and enjoys working with the students.

Our Schaumburg teaching staff combines a commitment to the success of our students with over a HUNDRED YEARS of combined Sylvan and classroom experience! Our tutors are all State of Illinois certified teachers. Over 75% of our staff have advanced degrees in their fields. Their experience includes special education, reading, higher level math, elementary and secondary education. Our students benefit from their ability to address their individual concerns with dedication and expertise.
