As summer is approaching quickly, now is the time to bring your child into be tested to see what skills they are lacking. We can then build them a program that is custom fit to meet their needs and skill gaps. Wouldn't it be wonderful to see your child walk into the next grade level with their head held high. ACT Prep classes begin October 16 for the December 11th ACT Test. Enrollment for the December 11th ACT test dates Prep classes is going on now. The next ACT/SAT Free practice test is scheduled for October 9th from 1-5 pm. Call us now to reserve a spot for this FREE practice college prep test, and begin to prepare for the ACT test on December 11th., and the SAT test scheduled for November 6th.
FREE Diag Days for ACT/SAT test prep!!
We are holding FREE Diag Days for ACT/SAT practice tests beginning Saturday, October 9th
We will provide FREE practice tests for either the ACT or the SAT on the following days: Saturday, AuguOctober 9th, and Saturday, and November 13th.
We will score the tests and go over the results with each of the families that take advantage of the Free Diag Days for college prep tests. These dates are set to give each of you lead time prior to the actual test dates to see where you are and make plans to grow your scores. Please call us at least 2 weeks in advance of the scheduled dates to schedule your FREE Diag Day for ACT or SAT testing.
How can you tell if your child needs tutoring?
The notion of tutoring, whether it’s to catch up, keep up or get ahead, has been around for a very long time. Socrates, for instance, tutored Plato and Plato tutored Aristotle. These were all bright philosophers and scholars who learned from someone who knew more. So, how can parents know when a personal instructor is right for their child?
Supplemental education may be the answer, if your child:
• Demonstrates a pattern of slowly worsening grades in school
• Develops low self esteem and thinks negatively of himself in relation to his school performance
• Makes excuses as to why she is not working up to potential
• Misbehaves in school or loses interest in learning
• Is preparing for college testing, including college entrance exams, SAT and ACT tests
• Struggles to focus on a task (e.g. - spending more time daydreaming than on homework)
• Has test scores that do not reflect her daily performance
A good personal instructor will inspire and help students - at all levels of academic accomplishment, develop study habits and organizational skills that will result in significantly improved schoolwork and test scores. Most importantly, ensure the instructor will work with you and your child’s teachers to create a personal learning program based on your child’s current needs
