Sabrina Drone

Center Director

Sabrina is a graduate of McKendree University in Lebanon, IL. She graduated magna cum laude with her bachelor's Degree in Social Science secondary education. Sabrina has been with Sylvan since February of 2007. Sabrina has seen the Sylvan system help so many students, from learning how to read to improving their ACT scores! Sabrina is excited to bring her enthusiasm and commitment to excellence to Sylvan of Edwardsville. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family.

Brian Weiser

Instructor

Brian Weiser is an Elementary Education teacher from Edwardsville, Illinois. He recieved his bachelor degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2009. He currently works for Edwardsville School district as a substitute teacher and for the Illinois Air National Gaurd in Maintenance Managment Production at Scott Air Force Base. At Sylvan, Brian mainly teaches beginning and intermediete reading and math skills. His goal as a Sylvan teacher is to make learning fun and get students excited about improving their abilities at school.

Stephen Garland is an SIUE graduate. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in English Language & Literature and is certified to teach Secondary and Middle School English, Speech, and Mathematics.

Samantha graduated from SIUE with her Bachelor's in Elementary Education with an endorsement in mathematics.

Meghan Norris

Instructor

Meghan Norris is an SIUE graduate. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature. She is certified to teach Secondary English and Speech and Middle School English and History. She currently teaches writing in the Clayton School District.

Aubrie Hartnell

Instructor

Aubrie graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with a bachelors of science in Secondary School Health Education with a Mathematics endorsement. Aubrie loves getting the opportunity to work with students individually. Aubrie really enjoys tutoring students in Science/Math ACT prep, Math Essentials, and Advanced Math. She loves working with numbers!

Jennifer Leach

Jennifer is a 2010 graduate of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where she majored in Secondary English, with a minor in speech. She is also a substitute teacher in the Edwardsville School District. Jennifer enjoys cooking, spending time with family and friends, and is currently planning her wedding.

Julie Tiller

Julie lives in St. Peters, Missouri and graduated in 2007 from Culver-Stockton College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. I have taught second grade for four years at Imagine Academy of Environmental Science and Math in St. Louis, Missouri. I enjoy being outdoors, reading, and spending time with my two year old daughter Amelia.

Angela Arnold

Since August 2010, Angela has been teaching high school Spanish at Northwestern High School in Palmyra, IL. Angela also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in South America from 2008-2010 as an Early Education Advisor. She has experience teaching children Spanish in kindergarten-5th grade at SENSE Charter School in Indianapolis, IN from 2006-2007. Angela graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Education in 2006. She and her husband are excited to have their first child in December 2011!
