SES Instructors
Sylvan Learning Center is now accepting resumes for our 2011-2012 SES program. Sylvan provides supplemental education services (SES) to schools within the Decatur Public School District #61 that did not meet adequate yearly progress (AYP), as defined by No Child Left Behind (NCLB).
We are seeking educators who…
-hold a valid Illinois teaching certificate,
-are detail-oriented,
-have exceptional communication skills,
-can strictly follow required procedures and codes of conduct,
-have a strong desire to help ALL students succeed,
-are extremely flexible,
-possess a charismatic, vivacious personality,
-can teach lessons in a creative, fun manner,
-can work without direct supervision.
Position Information:
-Part-time employment from October 2011 to March 2012 (approximately)
-Between 2-5 hours per week depending on school assignment
-$15.00/hr.
