Kate Kyle

Center Educational Director

Kate received her B.A in Elementary Education from Maryville University; she is currently working on her M.Ed in school counseling at UMSL. She taught for three years at a private school before coming to Sylvan full time. She has been with Sylvan for a year. Kate enjoys traveling (especially to Disney World), reading, and skydiving on the weekends.

Jackie Nolan

Center Educational Director

Jackie has a psychology degree from University of Missouri - Columbia. She received her teaching certification from the University of Missouri - St. Louis. She worked for the Special School District before coming to work at Sylvan. She likes to read, do crossword puzzles, watch movies, and get together with friends.

Liz Heitman

Teacher

Liz received her B.S. in education from Washington University, her M.S. from Maryville University, and has 50+ graduate hours. She has taught both elementary and middle school for the public school system. Currently, she supervises student teachers at the University of Missouri - St. Louis and teaches at Sylvan. Liz enjoys bridge, theatre, symphony, and dinner out.

Charlene Sicking

Teacher

Charlene has her B.A. in education from Harris Stowe Teachers College; She has her M.Ed. from Lindenwood University. She retired from Mehlville School District where she taught elementary school and was a reading specialist for 27 years. She has been at Sylvan for four years. She enjoys reading, swimming, and traveling to anywhere with a beach.

Jamie Bloomfield

Teacher

Jamie has a B.S. in Mathematics with a Minor in Statistics from Truman State University, and she is still currently a student there working on her M.Ed. in Secondary Math. Jamie has taught College Algebra at Truman, tutored Calculus, Trigonometery, and Algebra. She will be teaching Geometery, Algebra, and Trigonometery at Orchard Farms this fall. When Jamie is not at Sylvan she likes to run, read, play with her nephew, and hang out with her family and friends.

Leeann Langenberg

Educational and Administrative Assistant

Leeann is currently working towards a degree in psychology at Missouri Baptist University. She has been an aide at Sylvan for 3 years. Leeann likes to read and write, she sings in her school choir, and relaxes by doing yoga and pilates.

Abrea Da Lay

Director of Education

Abrea graduated from Maryville University with a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and a Master's Degree in Secondary Education. She worked in the Rockwood School District before coming to Sylvan. Abrea enjoys going to the gym, crosstiching, and spending time with friends in her spare time.

Tammy Noel

Executive Director

Tammy started her career at Sylvan in 1990 as a part-time instructor in Rockford, IL. After she married, she moved back to St. Louis and was the Director of Education and Center Director of the Creve Coeur center for 7 years. She has been a partner owner of 3 centers-Ballwin, Chesterfield and Carbondale, since 2001. Tammy has three children-Kaylee, Olivia and Seth. She loves helping parents find resources at Sylvan to help their children reach their fullest potential.

Moniza Hasan

Teacher

M.A. in Mass Communication from the University of Karachi. Taught math in Pakistan, GSE Math (Board of Cambridge University) in England, taught math for Sylvan in New York all before coming here! Enjoys traveling.
