"When we first enrolled I was somewhat hesitant about the program. I had seen your ads on TV and was rather skeptical that Sylvan could really help my child and do all that you promised you would do. I was wrong! Not only did Sylvan teach her the skills that she needed, but you have also given her a confidence that she didn't have before. To see her face light up when she reads to me is a joy that can't be expressed in words. It's worth every penny that we invested into her Sylvan program. Thank you! Sylvan is making a real difference in the lives of many children. It may be a big investment, but I would tell any parent that if they are willing to give their child the help that Sylvan provides, their child will be able to achieve anything!" - Marsha |

"Please let your entire staff know how much it means to us that our son is already reading at grade level with his short time here at Sylvan! The staff performs a service that I know I can't do and they do it exceptionally well! Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU!" - Michelle |
'Confidence Continues to Grow at Sylvan'My son really enjoys working with your teachers. I think he especially likes having somebody on his side, other than me, who cheers him on and is excited about his accomplishments. Your staff knows how to build confidence in stuggling students, as well as instruct them in skills that they are missing. Sylvan testing identifies specific areas of academic weakness and develops a customized plan to correct them. That's exactly what he needed! - Deanne |
'Jake's Very Own Sylvan Success Story'Jake read a story to me last evening for school 'Mr. Putter and Tabby Pour Tea'. He read all 22 pages within 5 or 6 minutes--his fluency just knocked my socks off! I was so proud I almost cried. His face lit up like a Christmas tree when I told him how fast he read it. We were both beaming and high fiving! It was a wonderful thing. Thank you all for all of your help and changing my son's life in such a special way. - ....Jake's thankful mom, Lori. |
'A Grandparent's Heartfelt Thanks'As a grandparent and parent, it was very difficult for me to observe my then seven-year-old grandson struggle with the process of learning to read. In an effort to help him achieve this skill, he was enrolled in two different reading programs without any noticeable improvement. We then enrolled him at Sylvan. The staff were very professional. They immediately, through testing, identified his needs and developed an individualized plan for him to follow. Since attending Sylvan, he has demonstrated significant improvement in his reading skills. We have also noticed he now has more self-confidence and enjoys reading now. We are very gratefult to the staff at Sylvan for the services and compassion they have given him. |
