Meet the Tutors
Our Sylvan trained and certified tutors are dedicated to your child’s success. Working together with you, we will:
- Pinpoint your child’s learning needs using the Sylvan Skills Assessment®
- Develop a personalized learning plan based on your child’s goals
- Offer unique insights about what will work for your child
- Teach each lesson the way your child learns best
- Build a relationship with your child to provide learning that’s fun, engaging and rewarding

Teacher
Tricia graduated from Washington University with a B.A. in Education. She also earned a M.A. in Teaching from Webster University. Tricia currently works for the Special School District.
She loves to exercise and is a cheerleader for the St. Louis Rams.
Dan D.

Dan graduated from the University of Missouri-St. Louis with a B.S. in Secondary Education and currently works in the Francis Howell School District.
He reads constantly and is fluent in Croatian.
Rachel F.

Rachel graduated from Missouri State University with a B.A. in Early Childhood Education and currently works for the Bayless School District.
Rachel loves the Cardinals, math and making learning fun.
Sarah K.
Teacher
Sarah graduated from Webster University with a B.A. in Education and currently works with pre-schoolers in the St. Louis Public School District.
She has been working with children since she was 18 and experimented educationally with her 3 younger sisters prior to that.
Don P.

Don currently works in the Valley Park School District.
Wayne P.
Teacher
Wayne graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in Chemistry, minor in Math and currently works for Sylvan engaging and empowering the minds of students.
He was previously a navigator in the Air Force and anti-cancer research chemist at Colorado State University.
Donna P.
Teacher
Donna graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a B.S. in Education and currently works with the Special School District. Donna has had the pleasure of educating students of all ages.
She also volunteers her time at her sons' schools, participates in outdoor activies and enjoys being with her family.
Sarah T.
Teacher
Sarah graduated from St. Louis University with a B.A. in Elementary Education. She also earned a M.A. in Teaching from Webster University. Sarah currently works at St. Joan of Arc school.
She enjoys exercising, reading and has previously coached field hockey.
Chris W.
Classroom Assistant and Teacher
Chris graduated from St. Louis University with a B.A. in Elementary Education and currently works at St. John the Baptist school.
She is a huge Harry Potter fan and has recently sunk her teeth into the Twilight books.
