Carrie is a teacher at heart and is always thrilled when she can be a part of a child's success story. She graduated from the University of Missouri - Columbia. Go Tigers! Carrie is also currently teaching at Winfield Intermediate.

Dawn Henningsen

Instructor

Dawn is the newest addition to our Sylvan family. She graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in Elementary Education. She recently moved back to Missouri from Kent, Washington. In addition to working at Sylvan, she is also a substitute teacher for the St. Charles and Fort Zumwalt schools.

Sandy Myers

Instructor

Sandy is a mother of three terrific children, grandmother of six children and Godmother to nine children. She earned her Bachelor's Degree from Valparaiso University and her Master's Degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Behavior Disorders, Learning Disabilities and Vocational Education from Southern Illinois University. Sandy has taken more than 300 hours of professional development classes and has taught in public schools, parochial schools and state facilities. She has also taught at a Sylvan in Ellisville, Indiana.

Tammy Noel

Center Owner

Tammy has been at Sylvan since 1991. She started as a part-time teacher in Rockford, IL and moved to St Louis where she has managed several locations. She now owns the Ballwin, Chesterfield and St Peters locations. Tammy loves helping families find the supplemental educational programs they are looking for to help their children succeed in school, and in life. Tammy has children in the Rockwood School District and at Westminster Christian Academy.

Courtney Keys

Director of Education

Courtney has been at a Sylvan in North Carolina for 4 years where she was a Program Manager of the Ace it! Tutoring Program which Sylvan offers for schools at their after-school programs. Courtney has a husband who is a Marine recruiter and four beautiful children.

Dr. Laurie O'Leary

Center Director of School Contract Services

Laurie is a 20 year veteran educator having taught elementary and served as a Principal in both the Parkway and Wentzville School Districts. She has two beautiful children and loves helping families at Sylvan.

Megan Young

Assistant Director of Education & Ace it! Tutoring

Megan came to Sylvan as a part-time teacher, having taught 4th grade for several years where she learned the Wilson Reading Program. She loves to read and to inspire her students to READ, READ, READ! She has been at the Ballwin Sylvan until 2011 when she became the full-time Assistant Educational Director for the Ace it! Tutoring Program.

Janci Wellborn

Math/Science Teacher

Janci has been a Sylvan tutor off and on for many years, helping students in physics, chemistry, upper math, as well as preparing for thier college entrance exams. She joined the St Peter's staff in Aug 2011.

Judith came to Sylvan in Jan 2011 after having been a tutor at Huntington for 5 years. She is a retired teacher who loves to help student achieve their fullest adademic potential!

Christine has been with Sylvan since Dec 2010 after having tutored at Huntington. She holds a Bachelors in Secondary Mathematics Education. She love working with students to prepare for algebra, geometry, trig, calculus and ACTs or SATs.
