The basis for all of Sylvan's writing tutoring programs is “authenticity” – the learning and practice of writing skills in real–life settings and activities that mimic daily experiences. Practicing vocabulary by using new words in a letter to a friend is more effective than memorizing dictionary definitions.
Writing is made up of a number of smaller tasks, each necessary for successful and effective communication. A Sylvan writing tutor will ensure your child possesses solid, grade–appropriate foundations.
