Success at Last!

"My 11-year-old son, Seth Nickles, started Sylvan Learning Center in March of 2006. Prior to Seth enrolling in Sylvan, he was reading on a 1st grade level. Seth had become very withdrawn and dreaded to go to school. His father and I had tried everything, down to restrictions. It was heart-breaking to feel so helpless and to watch my child struggle. The problem was - Seth wanted to learn - he thrived for it. He just was not able to retain the lessons he was being taught. Not only did this frustrate him it diminished his self-esteem. After being in Sylvan for 5 months, Seth is a new kid. He has never been so excitd to begin school. Seth will be entering into the 5th grade this year - reading on a 5th grade level. Sylvan has given Seth the fundamentals of learning but more than that, Sylvan has given my son the confidence he needs to excel. Seth has his self-esteem back - That to me is priceless! Sylvan was a blessing to my family and I. We are so thankful to their helpful and knowledgeable staff. Here's a wonderful school year and one happy kid! Thank you, Sylvan!"
