Celebrating Success at Sylvan

Dear Sylvan Learning Center,

We would like to thank you for the great job you have done with our son. He was not having a good year in 3rd grade and it got to the point where he didn’t want to go to school any more. He didn’t want to study or even talk about school. We knew by his grades that he was not learning what he needed. He couldn’t add or subtract without getting very frustrated with himself and us. We contacted Sylvan Learning Center and they tested him. It was the middle of third grade and the tests showed he had skill gaps at the second grade level.

Now he is fourth grade and thanks to Sylvan Learning Center he is on the fourth grade level where he should be. They have helped him and us so very much. He can add and subtract with triple digits. He can multiply and divide in double digits and has learned many more important concepts in math. He was working on math homework and we were just amazed at how he could add and subtract the large numbers. He didn’t need any help doing it himself. He was so proud of himself and we were too. The big smile he had on his face when he walked through the door after his first day of school this year was priceless. He said this was going to be an awesome year. We would like to thank Sylvan Learning Center for helping get our son to the fourth grade level where he should be. You have really boosted his self-esteem and made him a happy little boy again. Our son is once again himself.

I would like to thank you from the very depths of my heart for the instruction with care that you have provided to my daughter.

Not only have you worked with her home room teacher and myself to create a win/win environment, you have done something that has given her such confidence in herself. Even to the point that if she doesn’t know the answer, she is now willing to ask because she doesn’t feel like she is “the dumb one in the class”. Those were her exact words before we brought her to Sylvan and she no longer feels that way about herself, she is like a new kid when it comes to learning.

ACT Prep Success

I would highly recommend Sylvan to anyone who has children in school. My daughter took both the ACT and SAT Prep courses offered at Sylvan. These courses gave her the ability to score well. Because of her high scores, she is now considering top colleges that would have been out of her reach before attending Sylvan.
I am planning on using other courses that Sylvan offers for my younger children, so that they will be ready to take the ACT and SAT Prep courses. Sylvan has been a wise investment; it was a great return on my money! Thanks Sylvan!
