High Level Math Tutor (Algebra/Geometry/PreCal)

Sylvan is seeking High-Level Math instructors to serve as tutors at our Arlington Sylvan Learning Center. As a Math Tutor at Sylvan Arlington, your primary responsibilities are:
Just Teaching. No Lesson Plans. No Preparation. You will be trained on the Sylvan curriculum and given the tools to teach in a small group, 3:1, and 1:1 math tutoring setting. You will provide personalized instruction in High-Level Math, SAT/ACT prep and State exams to students of all levels. Day, evening and weekend hours available.
As a successful Math Tutor, you will:
Deliver Quality Education:
· Teach using Sylvan based programs
· Supervise, interact with and motivate students during instruction hour while they work with equipment and materials
· Reward students for completed assignments
· Evaluate and document student progress
· Communicate student needs to the center manager
We require:
· Bachelor’s degree in math related field
· Minimum 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience and demonstration of Algebra, Geometry, and other High-Level math skills

Reading, Writing, and Lower-Level Math tutors
Reading/Writing/Lower-Level Math instructors to serve as tutors at our Arlington facility. As a tutor at Sylvan, your primary responsibilities are:
Just Teaching. No Lesson Plans. No Preparation. You will be trained on the Sylvan curriculum and given the tools to teach in a small group, 3:1, and 1:1 tutoring setting to reading students PreK-college, writing students 4th grade-college, and math students K-6th grade. You will provide personalized instruction to students of all levels. Evening and weekend hours available.
