High Level Math Tutor (Algebra/Geometry/PreCal)

Sylvan is seeking High-Level Math instructors to serve as tutors at our Arlington Sylvan Learning Center. As a Math Tutor at Sylvan Arlington, your primary responsibilities are:
Just Teaching. No Lesson Plans. No Preparation. You will be trained on the Sylvan curriculum and given the tools to teach in a small group, 3:1, and 1:1 math tutoring setting. You will provide personalized instruction in High-Level Math, SAT/ACT prep and State exams to students of all levels. Day, evening and weekend hours available.
As a successful Math Tutor, you will:
Deliver Quality Education:
· Teach using Sylvan based programs
· Supervise, interact with and motivate students during instruction hour while they work with equipment and materials
· Reward students for completed assignments
· Evaluate and document student progress
· Communicate student needs to the center manager
We require:
· Bachelor’s degree in math related field
· Minimum 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience and demonstration of Algebra, Geometry, and other High-Level math skills

Reading, Writing, and Lower-Level Math tutors
Reading/Writing/Lower-Level Math instructors to serve as tutors at our Arlington facility. As a tutor at Sylvan, your primary responsibilities are:

Center Instructor
Seeking Early Elementary *(gr 1-3) Math and Elementary Writing (*gr 4-6) tutors to teach our Summer Camps on site at our partner locations in Mansfield, Southlake, Grapevine, and North Richland Hills on either Monday or Wednesday and an occasional "makeup" day during the week. This job would be 5-8 hours per week starting immediately. Paid training.
