Cindy Brunworth
Center Director
Cindy has 14 years of experience with Sylvan. She has an elementary education degree with an emphasis on math. She started her career with Sylvan as a part-time tutor and then quickly moved into the Director of Education position. She served 7 years as Director of Education at the Arlington Sylvan. When the Center Director position came available, she moved into this role. She loves working with the staff, parents, and students at the Arlington Sylvan!
Amy Maltby
Program Manager
Amy joined the Sylvan Arlington team in 2008 as an Instructor in the areas of Academic Reading, Sylvan Beginning Reading, and Academic Writing. She also served as the Academic Reading Coordinator and a Diagnostic Testing Administrator before becoming the Director of Education for Arlington. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Baylor University, a Master's Degree in Political Social Work from the University of Houston, and is also a TEA-certified teacher in the areas of Special Education EC-12, Generalist 4-8, as well as an ESL Supplemental certification. She spent several years in the classroom before becoming a full time member of the Sylvan family.
Aniko Green
Assistant Director
Aniko joined the Arlington Sylvan team in 2001 and has been an essential member of the team ever since. She has set the standard for customer service and ethical conduct which has made Sylvan Arlington a place of academic excellence and outstanding customer service.
Jodi Newman
Director
Mrs. Jodi Newman joined the Sylvan Texas team after having worked for the last 10 years at Sylvan Learning Center in Southern CA. She started there as a tutor and diagnostician, then moved into a Director of Education role, and for the past 8 years was the Center Director. Jodi is also a NYS credentialed English teacher--and has taught in the public and private sectors as well as having taught ESL to students overseas in Lithuania, Poland, and East Africa. Jodi is very committed to the success of our Sylvan Students and their families, and is passionate about the quality of programs, exceptional customer service, and that each family genuinely experiences that LEARNING FEELS GOOD at Sylvan! Jodi oversees the Sylvan Arlington, Southlake and Burleson Centers-ensuring the quality of Customer Service, Programs, and general business practices.
