PreCal/Trig/ and CHEMISTRY tutors needed

Sylvan is seeking High-Level Math instructors to serve as tutors at our Southlake Sylvan Learning Center. As an Math Tutor at Sylvan Southlake, your primary responsibilities are:
Just Teaching. No Lesson Plans. No Preparation. You will be trained on the Sylvan curriculum and given the tools to teach in a small group, 3:1, and 1:1 math tutoring setting. You will provide personalized instruction in High-Level Math, SAT/ACT prep and State exams to students of all levels. Day, evening and weekend hours available.

As a successful Math Tutor, you will:
Deliver Quality Education:

· Teach using Sylvan based programs

· Supervise, interact with and motivate students during instruction hour while they work with
equipment and materials

· Reward students for completed assignments

· Evaluate and document student progress

· Communicate student needs to the center manager

We require:

· Bachelor’s degree in math related field

· Minimum 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience and demonstration of *PreCal (*Required), *Trig (*Required), *Algebra 2/3 (*Required), Geometry, and other High-Level math skills
