Don Woods
Center Director
Don has a long history supporting families in crisis. He earned his master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University and his bachelor's degree in English and Journalism from SWT. Prior to Don's involvement at Sylvan, he served as a psychotherapist for adolescent in-patients and their families at the Woods Psychiatric Institute in Abilene. Additionally, Don has played an executive role as a board member of Woods Clinical Management, Inc.
Lisa Godina
Director of Education
Lisa recieved her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Louisiana Tech University. She has been working in the learning center environment for ten years. Lisa served as a Director of Education for the Sylvan Corporation traveling throughout the United States to open new centers. She has also worked extensively with our Math Essentials program. Lisa serves as the Progress Manager for students in Pre-K - grade 5.

Kathy Hunter
Associate Director of Education
Kathy received her Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of Texas in Arlington. Kathy has been working for Sylvan Learning Center for nine years. She has served as Director of Education, Assessment Adminstrator, Instructor, and Curriculum Planner. Kathy serves as a Progress Manager fro sixth grade through adult.
