Math is my middle name. I am a Sylvan Certified Teacher who instructs in many subjects. I enjoy working with students and loves to see them succeed as they strive to reach their full potential. I have a Bachelor's degree in Biology and has been with Sylvan since 2002. My hobbies include reading, fishing, music, and all aspects of the film industry and of course MATH.

I have twenty-three years in education and seven years as a social worker with the Texas Department of Human Resources. I have a Masters in Education and a Bachelors in science from University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. I enjoy painting and scrapbooking in my spare time. I has five cats and one dog. Both my daughters live at home with me while attending college.

I am certified kindergarten and first grade teacher. I taught for over 16 years. I have a Bachelor of Arts with a certification in Elementary Education. I am a mother of two girls, three cats and a dog and am married to a military retiree. I love working with children.

I have my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education for Univeristy of Houston - Clear Lake. I also am certified as an EC to 6th grade teacher. I love working children and find it a very rewarding experience. I also enjoy playing softball and spending time with my friends and family.

Amanda is currently attending the University of Houston and will receive her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education in May of 2011 with a minor in English and Studio Arts. I have an academic background from the University of Houston - College of Architecture and a minor in math. I cucurrently work in Pasadena High School teaching engineering and graphics/architectural design classes. I have over 11 years of experience in the field of architecture. I enjoy teaching math and my interests include photography, design and construction.
