"My husband and I were at a loss as to how to help our child with math. We have an average understanding of basic math, but the last time we were in school was over 25 yrs ago, so Pre AP Junior High math was over our heads. Our daughter is an excellent student, but was struggling with Pre-AP Math and it was adding a lot of stress to her life and her self confidence was shaken. We turned to Sylvan. Initially, we wanted to make sure she would do well on the state TAKS test. We decided on the Homework Support program. She went for 8 weeks. She had one on one instruction from tutors that have a real understanding of math and what she was struggling based on the testing.
