Careers
Director of Education
Sylvan Learning Center of Lubbock is currently in need of a Director of Education. The applicant should have a valid teaching certificate, 2-3 years teaching experience, and a solid understanding of the educational process. In addition, strong leadership skills, initiative and the ability to multi-task are vital attributes for this position. This position is solely responsible for ensuring high-quality instruction for each student in our center. The Director must have excellent communication skills in order to effectively communicate with parents, teachers, members of the community, and students. A teaching certificate is required.

Reading Instructors
Our center is currently looking for a highly-qualified reading teacher specializing in beginning reading. Applicants must hold a valid teaching certificate. Please contact the center for more information. 4 and 5 pm availability at least 2 days per week is a MUST in order to be considered and Saturday availability is a plus. A teaching certificate is required.
Math Tutors
We are currently looking for part-time tutors who have experience in elementary, middle school and high school math. Preference will be given to those able to teach Alg 1, Alg 2 and Pre-Cal. Please include this information in your online application. Teaching certificate is a plus.
