Careers
Director of Education
Sylvan Learning Center of Lubbock is currently in need of a Director of Education. The applicant should have a valid teaching certificate, 2-3 years teaching experience, and a solid understanding of the educational process. In addition, strong leadership skills, initiative and the ability to multi-task are vital attributes for this position. This position is solely responsible for ensuring high-quality instruction for each student in our center. The Director must have excellent communication skills in order to effectively communicate with parents, teachers, members of the community, and students. Teaching certificate is required.

Reading Instructors
Our center is currently looking for a highly-qualified reading teacher specializing in reading. Applicants must hold a valid teaching certificate. Please contact the center for more information. Hours are Monday - Thursday 4-8pm and Saturdays 9-1pm. Hours will vary but at least 2 days a week is a must. A teaching certificate is required.
Math Tutors
We are currently looking for part-time tutors who have experience in elementary, middle school and high school math. Preference will be given to those able to teach Alg 1, Alg 2 and Pre-Cal. Please include this information in your online application. Teaching certificate is a plus.
