It was obvious to both of us that you had taken the time to study and understand his thoughts and concerns, and to bring that insight to your discussion with him. Coupling your style - talking to him like a young adult and a willingness to share your own background - with the individualized assessment results, you made quite a fan of my son. I actually heard him encouraging another student his age (15) to contact you at Sylvan for an assessment. Given the stigma he originally and quite mistakenly held about Sylvan, that is quite a compliment indeed!
