Our Sylvan trained and certified tutors are dedicated to your child’s success. Working together with you, we will:

Patty Bannan
Director of Education
Patty received her dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from Northern Arizona University. Patty taught in a fifth grade classroom and special education for the Deer Vally Unified School District. She also taught humanities, special education and as a Reading Specialist for seventh and eighth graders w/ the Federal Way Public Schools. Her Center Director and Director of Education career with Sylvan Learning Centers started in 1998. She has worked for Sylvan in Arizona, Nevada and Washington. Patty is avid about challenging and nurturing the academic lives of young people, is an aspiring author and enjoys spending time with her Yorkie, Little Guy.
