Bonnie Orphanos

Director of Education

Bonnie has her B.A. in Applied Mathematics with Scientific Programming from the University of California, San Diego. Her teaching credential and M.A., Ed were earned at National University. She has worked at the Sylvan Learning Center since 1995.

Marilyn Cameron

Director of Education

Marilyn earned her M.A. in Educational Administration at Columbia University and has worked as the Curriculum Coordinator and Principal at schools in Colorado and Vermont. She has been working at Sylvan Learning in Encinitas since 1995.

Bob Ross

Executive Director

Co-owner of the Sylvan center, Bob is responsible for the business side of the operation. He can answer your inquiries about Sylvan. His background includes a degree from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from Syracuse University.

Chris Ross

Director

Co-owner of the center, Chris' role is to oversee the educational aspects of Sylvan, and she has her B.S. in Education from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. She also earned her M.A., Ed. and Reading/Language Arts Specialist degree from Cal. State, Sacramento. Her other role is in community outreach.
