Advanced Reading Skills
Advanced Reading Skills are VITAL to doing well on the critical reading portion of the SAT/ACT college-entrance exams! Qualified students 7th grade and above (even adults) may take this class. CALL THE CENTER FOR the Center's Summer 2010 dates. Also, call for approval regarding on-site (*your choice, upon Sylvan approval) for Sylvan Advanced Reading seminars.
Cat in the Hat Visits Schools
Did you know that the Cat in the Hat will come to your school and read to Classes K-3? For more information, have your local PTA representative or School Principal email our Center Director at sylvaneducate556@aol.com. What a SUPER time the Cat has visiting schools, and he will come visit You with a surprise or two!

Teacher Appreciation Month/ Teacher Goodie Bags
If your student is currently enrolled at the Redlands SLC and you would like us to recognize his/her School Teacher for May's "Teacher Appreciation Month", contact your Program Manager at 909-792-9669 immediately. We will design a special Sylvan Goodie Bag that your student can take to his/her teacher to as a token of APPRECIATION for the HARD work that goes into teaching effectively every day!
Holiday Announcements
We will be closed for instruction in observance of Christmas Day and New Years Day on December 24th, 25th, and January 1st. We will be open for testing except for these days.
If your holiday plans are taking you out of town, please let us know as soon as possible so we can schedule your make up sessions.
