Meet the Tutors
Our Sylvan trained and certified tutors are dedicated to your child’s success. Working together with you, we will:

- Develop a personalized learning plan based on your child’s goals
- Offer unique insights about what will work for your child
- Teach each lesson the way your child learns best

Paul Lay
Center Director, M.B.A., University of Redlands
Paul is an experienced executive with over 25 years experience in aviation training and operations.
As Center Director, Paul oversees all activities of the learning center's operations, and is responsible for
holding the center to the highest standards in delivery of their educational programs. He works in close collaboration with instructors, parents, teachers and other school personnel to ensure each student's success.
Shannon Hill
Director Education
Shannon attended Chapman University where she earned a M.A. in Education.
Prior to Sylvan, Shannon was a teacher, president of the PTA, and volunteer for many school activities.
Shannon loves working with kids, and seeing their confidence soar at school as well as at home. She meets with parents to discuss each student’s progress and will adjust the student’s program to meet specific needs.
Nickie Geosano
Student Accounts and Billing Manager
