Our Sylvan trained and certified tutors are dedicated to your child’s success. Working together with you, we will:

- Develop a personalized learning plan based on your child’s goals

John Weiss
Executive Director
John is an experienced corporate executive with over 25 years of experience in operations and management where he has successfully led teams of various sizes and diverse backgrounds. He was drawn to his involvement with Sylvan out of a desire to own a business which benefits the local community by investing in its children. John is committed to attracting and hiring individuals with high levels of integrity and moral standards and whom also have a passion for growing young minds.
Melissa Pratt
Center Director
As the Center Director, Melissa oversees all aspects of the center's daily operations. Her responsibilities include: ensuring the center is exceeding student and parent expectations every hour, developing and maintaining a center that focuses on every student's growth, ensuring consistency and quality in the centers business operations, and working in close collaboration with the community to foster learning opportunities year round.
Taylor Hammond
Director of Education
A graduate of California State University in Fullerton, CA, Taylor oversees all educational programs of the center's students. On a daily basis, Taylor is responsible for maintaining the effectiveness of each student's personalized program. A mentor to all Sylvan staff, Taylor encourages the students to try their best every day!
