Meet the Tutors
Our Sylvan trained and certified tutors are dedicated to your child’s success. Working together with you, we will:

- Develop a personalized learning plan based on your child’s goals

- Teach each lesson the way your child learns best

Joseph Weldon
Owner and Director
Joseph Weldon has owend and operated this center for 26 years! He is also a certified and licensed teacher with a Masters of Arts in Education.
Joe has loved to travel ever since he spent time in the Peace Corps as a youth.
Ken Kozuma
Director
Ken Kozuma is our head director. He Graduated with a BS in Math and a minor in Physics, Business, and Computer Science from Pacific University in Oregon. He now has a masters degree in Education. He is a certified teacher and has years of experience as a high school math and science teacher. He is also the proud father of two children. Ken combines his love for learning, care for people, and his depth of experience to serve our Sylvan families!
Angela Asato
Director
Angela Asato is our Education Director. She graduated with a BA in Psychology from the University of Hawaii. She is a self made business woman with years of experience in supplemental education. Angela loves event planning and taking care of details. Her eye for logistics and experience in education keep our center running smoothly so that your children are always on track to meet their goals!
