Daffodil Festival

Sylvan Learning Center is passionate about teachers! We love being a sponsor of the Daffodil Festival's Educator of The Year Awards.

Each year, the 22 Pierce County high school Daffodil princesses choose an educator who has been a source of inspiration in their academic high school careers. These teachers are outstanding in their field and make a lasting impact on the students they instruct. Sylvan and the Daffodil Festival enjoy pampering these educators with a special recognition dinner, award presentation at their home school at a staff meeting, riding on an educator float in the Daffodil Festival's Grand Floral Parade and a gold educator's pin commemorating their place in the history of the Festival.

The Daffodil Festival celebrates it's 75th year in 2007. The Festival raises scholarship funds and further develops the leadership abilities in it's outstanding participants. For more information, go to: daffodilfestival.net
