Sylvan Loves Sponsoring "Lacey Loves To Read!"
Lacey Loves to read is a fabulous local literacy program developed by the North Thurston School District. Each year a unique and diverse author comes to Lacey during the month of February to celebrate literacy and showcase his or her body of work. Students in the district get involved on many levels - from designing book marks and artwork to attending author seminars and book readings. All community members are welcome to attend a variety of events that will be listed on the North Thurston School District web site (see below.) Sylvan has been a proud sponsor of this award-winning community program for the past 4 years.
