Our Sylvan trained and certified tutors are dedicated to your child’s success. Working together with you, we will:

What a group of teachers we have! Each one has been chosen for their warm personal enthusiasm and the individual flavour that they bring to the centre. Each member of the teaching team is a true teacher at heart. Their expertise and love of children is what drives them to achieve excellence with every student who comes to Sylvan. They are truly dedicated to making learning fun and committed to the academic growth of their students.
Lori Padley-Lee
Director of Education
Lori is beginning her tenth year with Sylvan. She holds an M.Ed from the University of Toronto, specializing in curriculum design, and has been both a Sylvan certified Director of Education and Centre Director. Lori works diligently to ensure she and her staff are providing the highest quality education to their students.
Petra Christopher
Executive Director
Petra Christopher has been a dynamic force in both the private and public sectors for over ten years, specializing in HR and project coordination. She holds a Social Services Worker diploma and sat on the Board of Directors for the Newmarket Chamber of Commerce, Rose of Sharon and the One Voice Community Network. Petra is enthusiastic about community outreach and ensuring the most positive experiences for our Sylvan families.
