Handwriting Without Tears
We are pleased to offer a new add on program for students who wish to improve their handwriting. It is a wonderful program which can be incorporated into a student's reading or math program. It is designed to be taught in 10 -15 minute increments and is applicable for all students, from those first learning to print to high school students.

Sylvan Math Prep
SylvanMathPrep.com complements Sylvan’s superior in-center math programs, and includes powerful search functions by concept, keyword and textbook (for a majority of middle and high school math textbooks). SAT/ACT Prep is here!
Another school year has begun and students in grades 11 and 12 are starting to think about their university choices. If your student is considering an American school they will also be preparing for the SAT/ACT. Besides good transcripts and letters of recommendation these exams are a requirement which are reviewed during the admissions process.
Sylvan Barrie offers SAT Prep for students who want to prepare for the tests. Our program is approximately 30 hours long and gives the student 3 practice tests (pre, mid and post. Both math and verbal areas of the test are taught along with strategies the student can employ when taking the test.
