Thanks for following up. My daughter definitely benefited from her time at Sylvan and she couldn’t say enough good things about Joey. She seems to be much more calm and her transition into the second semester of Grade 9 has been much easier than the first. So far so good. The tools she was given through Sylvan helped ease some of her anxieties. There have been a couple of bumps but nothing she can’t handle. At least the tears don’t appear as easily as they did the first semester.

She can now identify what the trigger issues are and work through them. Knowing she has Sylvan to fall back on is just the security blanket she needs. Sylvan has done wonders for her confidence. She has promised to let me know if she feels she needs the extra support and not let it get out of control like it was the first round.

Knowing the positive results obtained through Sylvan, I know that she won’t hesitate to let me know if she feels the need to go back. I’m sure we’ll be seeing you again.

"Good Morning Debbie! I was just thinking of you and was wondering how you were doing? How many grandkids do you have now? My daughter was talking the other day about how much she misses going there and constantly thinks "where would she be if she hadn't been there". If it wasn't for Sylvan I honestly don't know where my young lady would be now. She's in Grade 12 Applied English now - she went to summer school last year and got her grade 11 Applied English (she had the workplace English but wanted to better herself and spent a month in summer school).
Anyways, just thought I'd drop you a note and let you know what's going on with her as she was such a part of Sylvan for so many years.

"This letter is to express my gratitude to Sylvan Learning Center. Back in June of 2010 I received my son's report card from the school and the teachers were sending him to grade 5, but he still could not read or write. I didn't know what to do. I gave Sylvan a call and the next week my son was being tested for reading and writing. I found out he could not read past grade 2 level. A year later he now can read and understand to grade 5. He actually wants to pick up a book, read it and he understands what he is reading!!Sylvan has made reading and writing fun for my son.Thank you Sylvan for helping my son. Something the school, or school board could not do.
