Center Instructor

Attention Teachers/Tutors/Educators: The Sylvan Learning Centre in South Mississauga is currently looking to hire passionate teachers/tutors. We have a particular need for teachers qualified to teach Grades 8-12 Math.

If you like to inspire students, then we want you on our team! You will be trained in the Sylvan curriculum and given the pedagogical tools to teach at our centre. As a successful Instructor, you will teach Sylvan programmes, assist with homework, interact with and motivate students, evaluate and document student progress, and communicate student needs to directors.

You will also inspire students by developing rapport with them and establishing a fun learning environment, maintaining a positive attitude and demonstrating enthusiasm for teaching and for Sylvan.

This is a part-time position with two to three shifts per week. Flexible shifts are available in our operating hours 4pm- 8pm weeknights and Sat 9am -2pm
and possibly Sun 11-4pm. Teachers must be available to work weekends.
