Our Sylvan trained and certified tutors are dedicated to your child’s success. Working together with you, we will:

Desmond Jordan
Executive Director
Desmond is the Executive Director and Centre Owner. He has extensive business management expertise in Education and is focused upon making all the centres in the area run smoothly. Desmond is also responsible for ensuring Sylvan's high operating standards are met and that parents and students enjoy the maximum benefits from their Sylvan experience.
Jenn Heckman
Centre Director
Jenn is a certified teacher who also has a number of years experience with Sylvan in New Brunswick. She is responsible for the preparation and quality of your child's individual educational program She has been working with Sylvan in Ontario for two years and enjoys teaching and interacting with students.
Leah Jenkins
Director of Education
Leah is an expereinced Sylvan Director who loves the Sylvan environment, which allows her to work closely with both the students and their families, helping them to achieve their academic goals.
Leah attended Trent University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Psychology. She then moved on to the University of Windsor to complete her Bachelor of Education degree. Seeking an alternative education setting to the traditional classroom, Leah joined the Sylvan family in 2006 as an instructor. She has since ben promoted to the Director of Education role.
