Meet the Tutors
Our Sylvan trained and certified tutors are dedicated to your child’s success. Working together with you, we will:

- Develop a personalized learning plan based on your child’s goals
- Offer unique insights about what will work for your child
- Teach each lesson the way your child learns best

Gregory Dixon
Centre Director
Gregory is an advocate of individualized learning and helping children to realize their full potential in our prepared environment. Gregory first came to Sylvan in 2009, attracted to Sylvan's educational integrity and model of building self-confidence in children. Our environment consistently generates positive change in our students due to our ability to work with children in an academically prepared environment.
As a former Administrator of a CCMA Accredited Independent Montessori school, Greg provides solid leadership in partnering educational projects with global citizenship. He is an academic consultant to each of his Sylvan families and hosts workshops and seminars for the Scarborough community at a variety of times and locations. Anne Meszaros, B.A. & B.Ed.
Program Manager
Anne has over 30 years of teaching experience with the Toronto Board of Education/TDSB. With a Specialist in Special Education, she spent time teaching in the Special Education Programme. She also worked as a school administrator and an adjunct professor with York University. Then she began an exciting journey with Sylvan working as a tester and instructor. Currently, Anne is in charge of the Sylvan programs and maintaining a high level of academic excellence for every student.

They create a safe and secure environment for our students. It is through their commitment and dedication that we are able to maintain a high standard of excellence and allow students to gain confidence in their academic careers.
