The Southeast Sylvan Learning in Calgary would like to thank all the parents who are referring Sylvan to family and friends. A special “thank you” goes to our students who are sharing their positive experiences with their peers. Recently there was a parent waiting for information, and a student in the lobby proceeded to explain how Sylvan works and how we’ve helped her at school! Wow! We also would like to welcome back all the students who are returning after a break. Some have enrolled in a different program previously not studied at Sylvan, while others are receiving specific support of new school material. These students know what success feels like, and are back for more!
We're Ranked Third in Canada!
October 2008 - Our Sylvan Learning location, which proudly serves the families of Calgary’s Southeast, has exciting news about academic growth. Since the beginning of this year, our students have had the highest academic growth in math in all of Western Canada, and ranked third overall within the country! Our students consistently work hard and put effort into their math programmes, with the result being an average increase of 2.4 grade equivalents! Our talented team of math tutors also deserve a round of applause for helping the students understand and retain concepts. Our students’ success at school will be positively impacted as they apply knowledge learned at Sylvan to their school curriculum. Congratulations!
