Crystal became the Centre Director of the Coquitlam location in August 2009. Her Sylvan career began in 2006 as an instructor and she was quickly promoted to Centre Director and managed the Tsawwassen and White Rock locations before moving to Coquitlam. She obtained her B.A. (Child and Youth Study) with a major in Early Childhood Education from Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax, Nova Scotia and her B.Ed. (Elementary) from Edith Cowen University in Perth, Australia. She is devoted to helping student achieve their academic goals with confidence.
Pam has been the Director of Education in the Coquitlam location since 2001. She started teaching at Sylvan in 1996 when her two children were preschoolers. Pam received her B.A. (Mathematics) and her B.Ed. (Secondary) from the University of Washington in Seattle. Even though both of her children have graduated from high school her passion for helping other students succeed has not diminished over the years. Parents appreciate her welcoming nature and resourcefulness when it comes to helping them navigate their way through the educational system. Pam was acknowledged for her outstanding performance as Director of Education being the recipient of the 2010 Educational Excellence Award.
Megan was promoted to Director of Education in the Coquitlam in February 2010. Megan began her career at Sylvan as an instructor in 2009. She was a teacher on call for the Coquitlam and Maple Ridge school districts for a few years before joining Sylvan full time. Her background includes a B.A. (History & English) from SFU and a B.Ed. (Secondary) from UBC. Megan has an infectious personality, which motivates students of all ages to become lifelong learners. She is willing to go the extra mile to help each and every family achieve their goals.
