Our Sylvan trained and certified tutors are dedicated to your child’s success. Working together with you, we will:

Michelle Bancroft
Centre Director
Upon graduating from UBC in 1993 with her B.Ed., Michelle began working as a part-time teacher in the Surrey Sylvan location. Students thrived under Michelle’s instruction. She says, “I found in the classroom I couldn’t connect with the students as much, so Sylvan gives me a greater sense of personal satisfaction.” With a strong background in math and sciences, Michelle worked with many of the older students, but she was equally adept working with elementary students. Michelle was tapped on the shoulder to become a Director of Education and then ten years ago she became a Centre Director. She brings years of Sylvan experience to her position and a real passion for sharing the benefits of Sylvan to families.
