April began her career with Sylvan Learning of Dearborn in 2004. She earned a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from EMU. "I enjoy working with kids of all ages to help them to love learning and achieve academic success!" April enjoys spending her free time trying new recipes, decorating her house, gardening, watching good movies & bike riding.

Kylie Newman
Director of Education
Kylie Newman joins Sylvan Learning Center of Dearborn with experience working with all grade levels. Kylie received her Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of Maine. She holds a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of New England. In her free time she likes to play rugby, go mountain biking, and play with her two dogs.
