Meet the Tutors
The tutors of Frisco Sylvan Learning Center are all Sylvan trained and certified so that they can best address your child’s academic needs. Our tutors are dedicated to working closely with you and your child in order to help your child reach his or her goals. We start by pinpointing your child’s strengths and areas for improvement through the Sylvan Skills Assessment®. From there, our Frisco staff develops a personalized learning plan for your child and offers unique insights about what methods will work best with your child. Ultimately, our tutors will build a relationship with your child and provide a fun, engaging, and rewarding learning environment. The Frisco Sylvan Learning Center staff consists of highly experienced and established educational professionals who take great pride in their work with students who want to catch up, keep up, or get ahead.
Angela Eifert
Center Director
Certified Mathematics Instructor 
Angela is a graduate of Coastal Carolina University where she earned a degree in Elementary Education. Angela is certified to teach Elementary grades 2-6th, and is a Sylvan Certified Math Instructor. In her free time, she enjoys church events, friends and family and completing school. At Sylvan, she enjoys working with the other staff members and watching the students' confidence grow.
Christy Streff
Director of Education
Christy is a graduate of Southwest Minnesota State University where she earned a Bachelor Degree in Professional Writing and Communication. She is also certified to teach English 8-12. In her free time, Christy enjoys running, sewing and spending time with family. At Sylvan, she enjoys helping students one on one.
Christy is Sylvan Certified to teach the following subjects: Academic Reading, Beginning Reading, Academic Writing, Math Essentials, Algebra I, Algebra II and Handwriting Without Tears.
Amanda Fletcher
Director of Education
Amanda is a graduate of Texas A&M Commerce where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. She is also certified to teach EC-4 Generalist. In her free time, Amanda enjoys Texas Rangers baseball and being outdoors. At Sylvan, she enjoys helping students grow and succeed.
Amanda is Sylvan certified to teach the following programs: Academic Reading, Beginning Reading, Math Essentials, Study Skills, Advanced Reading Skills, Homework Support, Academic Writing, Handwriting Without Tears and Basic Skills Review.
Richard Grigsby
Certified Mathematics Instructor
Richard is a graduate of Eureka College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education and The George Washington University where he earned a Masters of Art in Education. He is also certified to teach grades 6-12. In his free time, Richard enjoys running and scuba diving. At Sylvan, he enjoys working with the students.
Richard is Sylvan certified to teach the following programs: Academic Reading, Math Essentials, Algebra I and II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Trig and Physics.
Stephany Grullon
Certified Mathematics Instructor
Stephany is a graduate of Baylor University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education Math grades 8-12. In her free time, Stephany enjoys reading and nature parks. At Sylvan, she enjoys working with different students and building confidence in them.

Jason Louwagie
Certified Mathematics Instructor
Jason is a graduate of Southwest Minnesota State University where he earned a Bachelor degree in Biology Education. He also holds a teaching certificate in Life Science and Middle School Science. In his free time, Jason enjoys fishing and boating.

Tatiana Hendrix
Certified Mathematics Instructor
Tatiana is a graduate of the University of Texas at Denton and the Teaching Training University in Russia where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Math and Computer Science as well as a Masters Degree in Statistics. Tatiana is also a Sylvan Certified Mathematics Instructor. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, playing tennis and fashion. At Sylvan, Tatiana enjoys working with the students to help them understand math topics.
Glen Turk
Certified Mathematics Instructor
Glen is a graduate of Ball State University in Munice, IN where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Education. He is certified to teach History and is a Sylvan Certified Math Instructor. In his free time, Glen enjoys golf and spending time with his sons. At Sylvan, he enjoys working with the students.
Amy Keaton
Certified Instructor
Amy is a graduate of Texas State University where she earned a Bachelor degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. She is also certified to teach EC-6th ESL Generalist. In her free time, Amy enjoys traveling, working out and cooking. At Sylvan, she enjoys developing relationships with children and helping them.

Jennifer Rich
Certified Instructor
Jennifer is a graduate of Lee University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education. She is also certified to teach Special Education K-12 and Elementary Education K-8. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys reading, site seeing and history. At Sylvan, she enjoys the small group setting.

Julie Tolan
Certified Instructor
Julie is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington where she earned a Bachelors degree in Education. She is also certified to teach 4-8 Social Studies and 4-8 Generalist. In her free time, Julie enjoys teaching school and traveling. At Sylvan, she enjoys the closer interaction while teaching students.

Beth Gullatt

Beth is a graduate of of Oklahoma State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism/Advertising nad Public Relations. She is also certified to teach Early Childhood through 6th grade with an ESL endorsement. In her free time, Beth enjoys decorating, sewing and traveling. At Sylvan, she enjoys having the opportunity to work with students in a small group.

Stephanie Janes

Stephanie is a graduate of Austin College where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Masters in Teaching. She is also certified to teach English 6-12 and Reading 6-12. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys spending time with family and going to sporting events. At Sylvan, she enjoys working with the students.
Erin McCune
Certified Instructor
Erin is a graduate of Texas A&M University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Education. She is also certified to teach Generalist EC-4, English/LA/Reading and Social Studies 4-8. In her free time, Erin enjoys photography. At Sylvan she enjoys helping the students succeed.

Kay Meyer
Certified Instructor
Kay is a graduate of Concordia College where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Education specializing in Language Arts and East Texas State University where she earned a Masters in Education. She is also certified to teach English/Language Arts 6-12. In her free time, Kay enjoys scrapbooking, traveling and photography. At Sylvan, she enjoys the interaction with the students and watching them excel.

Katie Parks
Certified Instructor
Katie is a graduate of Texas A&M University where she earned a Bachelor of Art in History. She is also certified to teach History 8-12. In her free time, Katie enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family and traveling. At Sylvan, she enjoys watching the children learn and have have that "ah ha" moment.

Misty Milburn
Certified Instructor
Misty is a graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Masters in Teaching Science. She is also certified to teach Life/Earth Science 6-12, English/Language Arts 6-12 and ESL. In her free time, Misty enjoys reading, writing and outdoor activities. At Sylvan, she enjoys having the opportunity to help students succeed at learning and to meet all of their goals.

Elizabeth Saenz
Certified Instructor
Elizabeth is a graduate of Angelo State Unversity and Texas Woman's University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Education. She is also certified to teach Secondary Biology and Secondary Life-Earth Sciences. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys reading and seeing movies. At Sylvan, she enjoys working with the students.

Danielle Freeman
Certified Instructor
Danielle is a graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She is also certified to teach EC-4th. In her free time, Danielle enjoys reading. At Sylvan, she enjoys helping students learn and seeing them love learning.

Michelle Johnson
Certified Instructor
Michelle is a graduate of the University of Southwestern Louisiana where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. She is also certified to teach all Elementary grades. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, running and yoga. At Sylvan, watching how well the students learn skills when working in individualized small groups.
Beverly Goodman
Certified Instructor
Beverly is a graduate of Baylor University and the University of Houston where she earned both her Bachelors and Masters in Education. She is also certified to teach Elementary and High School. In her free time, Beverly enjoys exercising, reading and spending time with friends. At Sylvan, she enjoys working with the excellent lesson plans.
Ann Fisher
Certified Instructor
Ann is a graduate of Louisiana State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Texas A&M University where she earned a Masters of Education. She is also certified to teach K-8th. In her free time, Ann enjoys playing tennis, volunteer work and gardening. At Sylvan, she enjoys interacting with the students and watching them gain confidence.
Courtney Pipes
Certified Instructor
Courtney is a graduate of Texas A&M University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Education. She is also certified to teach Math/Science 4-8. In her free time, Courtney enjoys substitute teaching and traveling. At Sylvan, she enjoys teaching and making a difference in a student's education.
