"My son, Nazir, is attending Sylvan for help in reading. He has trouble in comprehension, motivation for reading and writing. His response to the tutoring has been wonderful. Nazir has been very successful and with the help of his teacher at Sylvan, Kenny, he has made improvements. As the result of this tutoring he is eager to learn and is able to read more on his own. He was awarded Most Improved this last month in his class and I even received a call from his teacher stating that she had seen a marked improvement in his attention and reading in class. "We would like to express our appreciation for the professionalism shown by the administrative and auxiliary staff at the Sylvan Learning Center in Gardena, CA. The staff is always warm and caring. By their actions we know they truly care about the children’s welfare. The boys came in with needs in both math and reading. They both needed to be brought up to grade level proficiency. The goals that were set for the children were achieved and not only have they grown academically, they love the interactions with their teachers here at Sylvan and love being a part of the learning process. They look forward to coming and have shown improvement in their homework.
