Jana Behm
Center Director
Jana has long resided in the Peoria community and is uniquely aware of the area and how Sylvan can serve as your family's professional educational's partner. She is a graduate of Culver Stockton University and former local teacher with endorsements in language arts, social sciences, and math. Jana very much wants to serve you and your family so call her today!
Karla Janicke
Special School Programs Coordinator
Karla comes to Sylvan with a bachelors degree in psychology from Culver-Stockton. She has an extensive background in early childhood education. Before joining the Sylvan team, Karla most recently worked in the field of marketing. Karla specializes in Supplemental Education Services and is currently working with Peoria District 150 and Pekin District 303. You may contact Karla directly at 339-1708.
Ellen Hanks
Director of Education
Ellen is excited to be rejoining the Peoria Sylvan team! She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Augustana College in 2007. While there, she also earned a minor in English, which has always been her favorite subject. Ellen is a welcoming and warm personality to our local Peoria Center and she has been with Sylvan as Director of Education for 3 years. Please contact her for all of your student needs!
